The Shiba Inu community is being cautioned by Shib Army scam alerts, particularly through the account @susbarium, dedicated to uncovering scams and safeguarding the Shiba Inu community. They have issued a vital warning that Shiba Inu holders should take seriously.
The alert emphasizes that there is no ongoing minting or claiming of Sheboshis, a collection of 20,000 Shiba Inu-generated NFTs (non-fungible tokens) that launched on Feb. 20. Any website claiming otherwise or offering airdrops related to Sheboshis may potentially be a scam.
Sheboshis represent a move into hybrid tokens, utilizing the DN-404/ERC-404 standard, which combines the benefits of the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards. This innovative approach aims to offer liquidity and fractional ownership within the NFT sector.
Sheboshis Claim Process and Sellout: Recent Developments
Following its launch, the Sheboshis claim process unfolded in three phases. The initial phase was exclusive to original Shiboshi NFT holders, allowing them to claim Sheboshis for their SHIboshis. The subsequent phase opened up for LEASH token holders. However, the third phase, designated for public minting, never occurred due to Sheboshis selling out during the second phase.
