The Terra Classic (LUNC) community plans to burn 800 million USTC tokens to reduce the amount of digital currency in circulation. This initiative is part of their deflationary campaign.
1️⃣ USTC 800M Burn Proposal*
Fragwuerdig's proposal suggests burning 800 million USTC held in the Risk Harbor Wallet. Even though there was an agreement to burn these tokens, the wallet keys were lost, making burning difficult.
The Terra Classic community itself is divided, which prevents shared decision-making. Currently, there is no agreement on a hard fork burn of approximately $26 million worth of USTC tokens.
