#StarkNet distributed tokens to nearly 150,000 developers on #github . Some, like @wavey0x , faced issues as their renamed accounts were squatted shortly after. To assist, a script was created to identify 404 profiles with an #airdrop and count suspiciously recently created squatted accounts. Despite rate limitations, 1% were found to be squatted, and some names were still available. The suggestion for future airdrops involving devs is to use GitHub IDs instead of usernames, though addressing past associations poses challenges. Out of 1,854 Starknet airdrop recipients, around half had renamed or deleted their accounts.
