Binance's Latest Token Updates: Monitoring Tag Extension and Seed Tag Removal

Just wanted to share some recent updates from Binance that caught my eye. As of 2024-01-04, they're shaking things up with their token monitoring system, and here's my take on it.
Monitoring Tag Expansion: 📈
So, Binance is extending the Monitoring Tag to include some new tokens -
Aragon (ANT),
Firo (FIRO),
Keep3rV1 (KP3R),
Mdex (MDX),
MobileCoin (MOB),
Reef (REEF),
Vai (VAI),
Monero (XMR),
Zcash (ZEC),
Horizen (ZEN).
These tokens are expected to have higher volatility and risks, but Binance will keep a close eye on them with regular reviews. Just a heads up, if they don't meet the listing criteria, they might face delisting.
Seed Tag Removal: 🌱
On the flip side, Binance is removing the Seed Tag for GMX (GMX) and SushiSwap (SUSHI). These tokens represent innovative projects but come with higher volatility. To trade them, you'll need to pass quizzes every 90 days on Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms and accept the Terms of Use. It's all about making sure users are aware of the risks involved.

Binance is serious about keeping things in check. They conduct periodic reviews based on factors like team commitment, development activity, trading volume, and more. It's a comprehensive approach to ensure the tokens maintain a healthy place in the crypto ecosystem.
