According to Foresight News, Ethereum's L2 network, Linea, has announced that it will begin coin minting for Linea Park LXP. The announcement was made via a tweet from the company. The company stated that due to the high level of participation in Linea Park, a large number of bots and witch addresses have emerged.
After anti-witch efforts, the Linea team identified and confirmed approximately 29,000 suspicious addresses. Addresses identified as bots or witch addresses will not be able to receive LXP from Linea Park. These addresses will be marked as 'POH of this account has been disabled'.
The move is seen as a measure to ensure the integrity of the coin minting process and to prevent fraudulent activities. The company has not provided further details on the coin minting process or the future plans for Linea Park LXP.
