According to Foresight News, Lisa Su, the CEO of chip manufacturer AMD, announced at the COMPUTEX 2024 exhibition that the company is set to launch the MI350 chip series. The new series, expected to hit the market in 2025, will be based on a new chip architecture. Compared to the existing MI300 series of artificial intelligence chips, the MI350's performance in inference, the process of generating AI responses, is anticipated to improve by 35 times. Furthermore, AMD also plans to introduce the MI400 series in 2026, which will be based on an architecture known as 'Next'.
