According to Foresight News, RISC Zero, a zero-knowledge proof software developer, has announced plans to launch a universal validator across multiple chains. This is the third step in the roadmap for the release of its Zero-Knowledge Virtual Machine (zkVM) 1.0, which consists of four steps in total. The universal validator will enable blockchain and developers to leverage verifiable off-chain execution. This will allow developers to run Rust programs in RISC Zero's zkVM, generate proofs, and seamlessly verify them on-chain.
