According to Foresight News, the Arbitrum community has initiated voting on a proposal for a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) grant of 200 million ARB tokens. The grant is aimed at expanding the gaming ecosystem on the Arbitrum network, with the intention of making it the preferred choice for game developers.
A portion of the funds will be used for joint investments with Arbitrum-approved publishers in promising studios and games. The funds will also be provided to all other game creators seeking to develop games on the Arbitrum network. The GCP team will be established with the support of the Arbitrum Foundation and will collaborate with the GCP board, which is responsible for oversight.
The proposal has so far received 99.66% approval votes and 0.32% disapproval votes. The voting is set to conclude on June 8.
