Options contracts for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) with a notional value exceeding $1.95 billion are poised to expire this coming Friday, May 17, according to data from Deribit. This includes BTC options with a notional value over $1.036 billion and ETH options contracts with a notional value of more than $916 million.
Significantly, the point of maximum pain for these contracts is set at $62,000 for BTC and $3,000 for ETH.
