#WeAreAllSatoshi i heard on a legitimate hackers group channel on IRC called GlobalHell that it was actually a female and male, one from isreal and 1 from germany, they studied comp sci and were dating long distance, they were discussing techniques to avoid firewall and anti-virus engines and the ideas got wilder and wilder, eventually they ended up creating something called bitcoin, it was meant to be a fun project and not to be taken seriously, it was also meant to be used as a university project, but they broke up and went their own way, meanwhile bitcoin caught on and by the time they had heard about it, no one would believe that they actually designed it all. the name was random, just as she called one of her metamorphic trojans "MSIL.Missamon" just sounds cool i suppose.
