The study, which analyzed tax filings, cryptocurrency exchange data, and survey responses, found that approximately 88% of Norwegian cryptocurrency holders have not reported their assets to tax authorities. This evasion behavior is prevalent among about 6% of the Norwegian population, with a significant concentration among young, male, and urban residents.
