Hey Startups! If your Mentor tells you, "You can’t do it," then stop collaborating with that Mentor immediately.

1. They don’t believe in your capabilities.

2. They don’t believe in their own advice.

The first possibility is more likely. Ending the collaboration will save time for both parties. However, use those words as motivation and prove to them that you can succeed. Focus on the value your team brings to the community and have confidence in your team. That way, mentors will be more likely to want to collaborate with you. Remember that!
