An investigation by ZachXBT has linked convicted UK hacker Gurv (Gurvinder Bhangu) to recent high-profile cybercrimes, including the theft of over $530,000 through Solana meme coin scams. Gurv’s criminal activities began with SIM swapping incidents involving celebrities Sydney Sweeney and Bob Odenkirk.

SIM Swap Scams and Financial Gains

On July 2nd, Sydney Sweeney’s X account was compromised through a SIM swap scam. The hacker posted a link to a Solana meme coin, causing its price to spike and then crash. 

The team behind this scam sold $515,000 worth of the meme coin. After the theft, the hacker taunted on social media and falsely claimed credit for other incidents involving Hulk Hogan and 50 Cent.
