According to Odaily, Dragonfly partner Haseeb has expressed skepticism about the impact of market cycles on the long-term value of tokens. He made these remarks on platform X, where he noted that many founders attempt to launch tokens during a bull market. However, these tokens inevitably have to go through a bear market, leading Haseeb to question the systemic underperformance of some tokens due to their issuance during certain market cycles.

Haseeb further stated that while tokens issued during a bull market might have more funds for growth, market competition is relative. If the market drops by 50%, the native token ecosystem fund would also decrease by 50%, maintaining a relative market share. He emphasized that the timing of fundraising activities is indeed important, but what he was discussing was Token Generation Events (TGEs), which are more akin to direct listings, not fundraising activities.
