**TOKEN2049 Dubai Postponed to April 2027 Amid Regional Geopolitical Uncertainty**
Organizers of TOKEN2049, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency and blockchain conferences, have officially postponed the Dubai edition originally scheduled for late April 2026.
In an announcement released on March 13, 2026, the team stated that the event will now take place on **April 21–22, 2027**. The decision was made “in light of the ongoing uncertainty in the region and its impact on safety, international travel, and logistics.”
The announcement emphasized that the conference is **not cancelled** — only deferred — to protect the full scale, quality, and community experience that attendees expect from TOKEN2049. All existing tickets remain fully valid for the rescheduled 2027 dates. Attendees also have the option to transfer their registration to the upcoming TOKEN2049 Singapore event in 2026 if preferred.
The postponement comes against the backdrop of escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, including the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, which has already disrupted several major business and technology events across the UAE.
Despite the delay in Dubai, the TOKEN2049 team confirmed that preparations for other editions (particularly Singapore) continue as normal.
The crypto industry will now look toward other major gatherings in 2026, while the next Dubai flagship event is pushed more than a year into the future.
