Protect Yourself from P2P Scams: A Personal Account

Howdy folks,

I'm here to share a cautionary tale about a recent run-in with a P2P scam that left my bank account frozen. Learn from my experience and safeguard your hard-earned funds.

Back in February, while munching on a snack, I attempted to make a payment via UPI. To my dismay, I encountered an error. Brushing it off, I tried again, only to face the same issue. Alarmed, I reached out to my bank, only to be informed that my account had been frozen due to illicit funds.

Upon investigation, it became clear that someone who had paid me through P2P had engaged in fraudulent activities, resulting in the freezing of every account they had transacted with.

Here are some tips to avoid falling victim to such scams:

1. Stick to reputable traders: Only transact with individuals who have a trading history of at least 50% and a completion rate of 95% or higher.

2. Verify account details: Always ensure that the recipient's bank account name matches the name on their Binance account to avoid potential discrepancies.
