Une aubaine pour cet adepte du DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) depuis maintenant plus de deux ans, qui est persuadé que le halving de Bitcoin, le mécanisme réduisant de moitié la récompense de minage, va booster la demande de BTC. On fait le point sur la dernière grand-messe de ce magnat de la finance.

MICHAEL SAYLOR TOUJOURS BULLISH SUR BTC

Fois 10 pour BTC d’ici à la fin de l’année 2024. C’est avec cette prédiction que Michael Saylor a attiré l’audience de la Convention australienne sur la cryptographie, un événement crypto qui s’est tenu ce 10 novembre dernier.

Saylor ne s’est pas contenté de lancer des chiffres en l’air lors de cette convention. Il a peint un tableau plus large, une vision à long terme pour le bitcoin sur les 4 à 5 prochaines années. Et autant dire que le PDG de MicroStrategy est toujours aussi bullish pour la reine des cryptomonnaies.

Pour commencer son argumentation, le multimilliardaire a d’abord dressé un état des lieux de ces quatre dernières années. Observant le changement de statut de la précieuse crypto qui est désormais reconnu comme une valeur refuge.

Par ailleurs, Michael Saylor n’oublie pas nos chères petites têtes blondes. Les Millennials, la Génération Z, ces jeunes esprits vifs qui redéfinissent l’avenir financier, pourraient, selon ses mots, voir le Bitcoin comme « un actif incontournable d’ici fin 2024 ».

Is It Alarming To Say 80% Of #Bitcoin Holders Have Never Sold Bitcoin?

People arguing against bitcoin often say it has no intrinsic value. 80% of bitcoin holders have never sold bitcoin.
All it takes is a few whales to sell, and then price drops like an avalanche.

And once others see the steep waterfall the herd will follow further driving down price more.

How do you respond to this?

#MichaelSaylor's says the rich dont sell their assets. Is Bitcoin creating this false illusion for people to think they are becoming rich by seeing the price artificially go up due to massive sells/buys (i.e. fire sales only to accumulate more (it's more of a ping pong game)?

What happens when 40% of the 80% of bitcoin holders decide to sell and enjoy their fortunes by buying mega mansions, real estate, cars, etc.?

I would reasonably think since the rich dont sell their assets, most will take what they need and leave the rest in BTC. Similar to real estate. If you own 10 buildings, why in the hell would you sell unless if you really needed the instant cash flow?
