According to TechFlow, BNB Chain recently proposed the BEP 341 proposal to improve the transaction processing capabilities of Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The proposal allows validators to generate blocks continuously, replacing the current single-slot priority system, thereby optimizing block generation efficiency and increasing transaction throughput.
The main purpose of BEP 341 is to improve BSC’s transaction processing capabilities through a continuous block generation mechanism, while introducing an AntiMEV ratio to prevent Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) abuse. The proposal is expected to significantly increase transactions per second (TPS), working best when the number of consecutive blocks is between 3 and 5.
Additionally, BEP 341 emphasizes community-driven governance changes, ensuring that all adjustments require consensus from BNB delegators, thereby enhancing the decentralization and fairness of the network.
