ChainCatcher news: According to information shared by Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett on X, Jamaal Bowman, a cryptocurrency critic who voted against the FIT 21 bill, lost to Westchester County Executive George Latimer in the Democratic primary for New York's 16th District.

Fairshake, a pro-cryptocurrency super PAC, spent $2 million on ads against Bowman last week.

“Jamaal Bowman opposed clear rules for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, and now he has to find another way,” said Josh Vlasto, a spokesman for Fairshake. “The cryptocurrency and blockchain community will continue to support candidates who believe in innovation and job creation, and work across party lines to get the job done.”
