According to Foresight News, the Base Sepolia testnet plans to launch the Fault Proofs system in mid-July. Officials said that Fault Proofs is a key implementation link in the process of L2 achieving decentralization. It can verify the L2 status in a more decentralized way and lay the foundation for more community participation. Changes in testnet withdrawals after launch will include: withdrawals will be proven and finalized according to the Fault Proofs system; withdrawals will take at least 7 days to be finalized, or may take longer; DisputeGameFactory will replace L2O outputOracle and become the new contract for output root claims.
