Standard Chartered, a well-known British bank, is reportedly preparing to launch a Bitcoin and Ethereum trading desk for its customers. The information came from Bloomberg, which cited that it could be the first global bank to enter the cryptocurrency trading market.
According to information obtained from two anonymous sources, the division that already controls the exchange part of the bank will control the operations. The headquarters of operations were to be in London, England.
In the past, Standard Chartered has always been bullish on cryptocurrencies. Earlier this month, for example, the bank noted that BTC could reach $150,000 by the end of 2024.
