ChainCatcher news, Paradigm released REVM compiler Revmc.

Paradigm said it recently released a high-performance roadmap for Reth, calling for wider use of "gas per second" as a performance metric for EVM blockchains and detailing plans to scale the blockchain to 1 GB per second and beyond, a 1,000-fold improvement over Ethereum's current status.

Paradigm will open source Revmc, a compiler for reducing EVM bytecode to native code, which has demonstrated improvements from 1.85x to 19x in various real-world EVM benchmarks, and has also integrated Revmc in Reth and successfully synchronized the chain. Next, Revmc will be integrated in OP Reth for use in L2, and its improvements will play a role in compute-heavy workloads.
