Martin Shkreli, also known as Pharma Bro, now claims that Donald Trump's 18-year-old son, Barron Trump, launched the TrumpCoin (DJT) token with his father's approval and holds the private keys to the smart contract address. Shkreli, who was sentenced to more than six years in prison for securities fraud, claims that Barron Trump approached him about launching the Solana-based token in April, according to Birdseye data.

What's Happening on the DJT Front?

At the X Spaces event hosted by Mario Nawfal, Shkreli claimed that he only advised his friend Barron Trump on the token launch but did not have an active hand in the token's distribution. Instead, Barron claimed that Trump was the real creator of DJT and added that cryptocurrency influencer Ansem was also involved. Shkreli made the following statements on the subject on June 18 via X:

“I taught someone how to communicate and he pushed the button, not me. Trump has the private information, not me. "I did not act alone."

He also claimed that Barron Trump has been in contact with crypto exchange Kraken to discuss the potential listing of DJT, adding that Donald Trump is not only aware of the DJT token but approves of it.

Allegations Regarding the Subject

Shkreli attempted to support his cause by bringing the Mongolian Prince, a teenager with fewer than 500 X followers and who also allegedly worked with Shkreli, to the X Spaces event. The remarkably shy Mongolian Prince made remarkable statements on the subject.

The Mongolian Prince claims to have recently met with Barron Trump in Florida, but his account of Donald Trump's alleged involvement is much less clear, according to the report of events. The Mongolian Prince and Barron claimed that he showed his Solana-based Phantom wallet to his father before the DJT token launch, to which his father only responded with laughter.

The seven-hour X Spaces event came a day after blockchain detective ZachXBT won a $150,000 reward from blockchain analysis firm Arkham Intelligence for allegedly identifying Shkreli as the creator of the DJT token. Adam Cochran, a partner at venture capital firm Cinneamhain Ventures, accused Shkreli of a high-profile incident in an attempt to clear his name.
