Arkham Bounty Announcement and Reveal

Arkham released news on Wednesday announcing that ZachXBT had successfully cracked the mystery of the DJT token creator. Arkham said: "This bounty has been resolved by ZachXBT. The craze for DJT tokens

Earlier this week, the DJT token attracted significant attention due to a rumor directly related to former US President Trump. The rumor, spread by Pirate Wires, caused the token's value to surge by more than 300% on Tuesday. Unconfirmed sources indicate that Shkreli, who has been notorious for securities fraud, has publicly supported the coin, claiming that DJT is the official token of the Trump campaign. He even made a $100 million bet with crypto trader GCR, challenging the token’s legitimacy, though he later claimed GCR withdrew the bet.

ZachXBT Investigation and Evidence

On Tuesday night, Arkham announced a $150,000 reward to find the creator of the DJT token. Renowned blockchain investigator ZachXBT quickly accepted the challenge. Shortly after, ZachXBT revealed that Shkreli sent him a direct message admitting that he had created the token along with “Barron.” The name appears to be a reference to Trump's son, Barron Trump, although there is no evidence that Barron Trump was involved. Shkreli later confirmed his role in creating DJT during one of the X Spaces he hosted that night.

Martin Shkreli’s controversial background

Martin Shkreli, often referred to as the "pharma bro," gained notoriety in 2015 when as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals he raised the price of a life-saving drug by more than 5,000%, making it unaffordable. This price manipulation earned him public condemnation. In 2017, Shkreli was sentenced to seven years in prison in an unrelated securities fraud case and was released early in 2022.
