Notcoin will abandon the idea of a clicker game

The developers of the gaming Web3 project Notcoin want to move away from the clicker idea to create a more sustainable model. The creator of the game, Alexander Plotvinov, told The Block about this.

According to him, “sneakers” will not have long-term success among users and do not contribute to attracting income.

“I don't think this will last forever. From my point of view, only games with sustainable models will survive,” Plotvinov said.

Over the next four years, the developers plan to turn Notcoin into an independent center for launching third-party ecosystem projects, through interaction with which users will be able to earn NOT tokens. The number of such campaigns will reach 50-100 per week.

“It's similar to pharming, but not to provide liquidity, but to provide your time and attention. This model allows us to be sustainable because we don’t have to issue new coins,” said the Notcoin founder.

Other possible directions for the app's development include competitions and other incentives, gaming platforms, or even a decentralized AI-powered university.

“We are experimenting with this. Some models will die, some will evolve and become successful,” he said.

Plotvinov also summed up the results of the Notcoin airdrop, saying that users received about 90% of the token emission. The fight against bots became a serious problem - when distributing, the team gave priority to real and active players.

“At the end of the day, those who contributed more value to the ecosystem will receive more tokens. Even if we have millions of bots, their amounts will remain small,” the developer noted.
