🗓 Today, 14 years have passed since Satoshi Nakamoto, the genius creator of Bitcoin, posted a message on the BitcoinTalk forum, stating that after the release of version 0.1 of Bitcoin, its main design will remain unchanged as long as it exists.
Even back then, Satoshi predicted that new types of transactions would emerge and wanted the network architecture to be able to support them.
"The problem was that each type of operation required specific backing code and data fields, regardless of whether they were used, and covered only a single exception. This would cause exceptions to explode."
🧑💻 To solve this problem, Satoshi developed a script that generalizes transactions to a level where participants can describe the transaction as a prediction (an equation that evaluates to true or false). $BTC #SatoshiNakamoto
