Blockchain news! Bitcoin DeFi platform ALEX Lab released an update on the security incident. It is reported that as of 11 am on June 17, the attacker had broadcast more than 9,700 transactions involving the generation of new wallet addresses and the dispersion of on-chain STX balances to these new wallets. The number of transactions soared from 300 to more than 9,600, and the growth rate has not slowed down. In just 7 days, the number of independent addresses of the attacker has surged from less than 100 to more than 4,700. 😱

The attacker transferred small amounts of STX to thousands of new addresses and then sent them to CEX. Although most CEXs worked closely with us during the recovery process, the attacker seemed to have realized this and quickly turned to the sending address of the stolen funds from CEX.

At present, the amount of STX deposited into CEX that has been tracked is 8,373,587, and the attacker's current on-chain balance is about 5,560,332 STX. How is this number calculated? It is calculated based on the wallet balance of more than 100 STX.
