Visa has completed an “experiment” that allows users to pay blockchain transaction fees using a credit or debit card.

The experiment uses Paymaster smart contracts, on Goerli's Ethereum testnet network, combined with account abstraction and the ERC-4337 standard to cover crypto transaction costs (fee gas) for users. This eliminates the need for users who want to maintain an Ethereum balance. $ETH
