According to TechFlow, T-Mobile (German Telecom) announced plans to start developing Bitcoin mining business to expand its ongoing encryption activities.
Speaking at BTC Prague, Dirk Röder, head of Web3 infrastructure and solutions at Deutsche Telekom, said, “We have been running Bitcoin nodes since 2023 and are also running Bitcoin Lightning nodes. We will soon be mining the digital currency.”
