Last Friday the Fed announced the US Unemployment Rate for May. The data exceeded expectations and severely dampened investors' hopes for an early interest rate cut.
If other central banks around the world continue to reduce interest rates, the Fed will be able to maintain their current high interest rates. Pressure from other countries' interest rate cuts is a challenge for the US.
