According to Foresight News, Loopring said that its smart wallets were hacked. A few hours ago, some Loopring smart wallets suffered security vulnerabilities. The attack specifically targeted wallets with only one Guardian, especially those using Loopring's official Guardian. The hacker initiated a recovery process, impersonating the wallet owner to reset ownership and withdraw assets. The attack compromised the 2FA service of the Loopring protocol, enabling hackers to impersonate wallet owners and obtain recovery approval from the official Guardian. The attacker then transferred assets out of the affected wallets. Loopring is actively working with Mist security experts to determine how the 2FA service was compromised. In order to protect our users, Loopring has temporarily stopped Guardian-related and 2FA-related operations. After this move, the attack has stopped.

The Loopring protocol is working with law enforcement and professional security teams to track down the attacker. Loopring said, "We will continue to provide updates once the investigation progresses." The hacker address involved is: 0x44f887cfbd667cb2042dd55ab1d8951c94bb01020xbacef3a142e39f14f4f15e22e9248ee4141af18f.
