## Binance User Loses $1 Million Due to Chrome Plugin
A hacker managed to take control of a Chinese trader's Binance account without needing the password or 2FA confirmation. After performing several transactions, the hacker withdrew assets worth $1 million.
The investor stated that no notifications were received from the security service during the attack. Experts found that the hacker had intercepted the session through a malicious Chrome plugin named AggrTrade, using cookies.
The original AggrTrade platform warned about the fraudulent extension misusing its brand after the incident, noting that the scam has been targeting exchanges like Bitget, Kraken, Binance, and others since 2022.
