Project Description
Fuel Network is Ethereum's expansion solution, which aims to provide the fastest execution layer, providing the greatest security and flexibility for decentralized applications. The project is led by John Adler, one of the early proposers of the Optimistic Rollup solution, and has the same co-founder as Celestia. Fuel is positioned as a modular execution layer that focuses on execution rather than data availability and sorting.
Project Vision
Fuel attempts to optimize the base layer through a modular execution layer to achieve true scalability. It was initially used on the Ethereum mainnet as the first Optimistic Rollup, but was constrained by the performance limitations of the mainnet due to the pure L2. Therefore, Fuel is committed to improving the execution state of L2 to achieve true scalability.
Financing Information
Fuel Labs has received multiple rounds of financing, including large amounts of funding led by CoinFund, Fenbushi Capital, Blockchain Capital, etc. Among them, it announced on September 21, 2021 that it had received US$1.5 million in financing, and on September 7, 2022, it announced that it had completed US$80 million in financing.
Final testnet incentives
On May 31, Fuel announced on social media that it has launched the final testnet on the Sepolia network, and the Fuel mainnet is expected to be officially launched in the third quarter of 2024. Installing the wallet
First we need to install the Fuel wallet
