$SAND Just Raised $20M, Wide Open Path with #GameFi.
The Sandbox has officially raised an additional $20M from AnimocaBrands, Kingsway Capital, LG Technology Ventures, and True Global Ventures. This announcement came yesterday, June 6th, bringing the total amount raised to $118.5M.
It's worth noting that The Sandbox is a subsidiary of the Web3 gaming company AnimocaBrands, and Yat Siu, the chairman of Animoca Brands, has expressed his delight in continuing to realize the vision of Web3 and the open metaverse for GameFi.
Another accompanying piece of information is that The Sandbox plans to develop a version of its decentralized metaverse for mobile devices, expected to launch in 2025.
Currently, The Sandbox has over 440 global partners from various brands, and in 2024, there will be many events hosted by the Sandbox.
