Giant Market Maker Announced: If Ethereum Fails, It's Not Because of Solana!

The CEO of giant cryptocurrency market maker Wintermute touched upon what could be the factors if Ethereum fails.

Wintermute CEO Evgeny Gaevoy shared on Twitter what could be the reason if Ethereum fails in the future.

Geovoy states that important names in the Ethereum community are in great conflict about the direction and future of blockchain technology. He thinks that this situation is the most important impact on the possibility of Ethereum failing in the future. The CEO expressed it ironically as follows:

If Ethereum fails in the future, it will not be because “Solana is faster” but because the people leading in Ethereum are still stuck in a huge contradiction.

According to Wintermute CEO, Blockchain technology offers a suitable environment to create some systems of purely capitalist incentive. In contrast, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and other prominent figures argue that the systems they build will only be respected when used for socially valuable purposes, Evgeny Gaevoy noted:

You are either building capitalism or planned socialism. Sorry, you really can't do both.

Stating that he chose capitalism, the CEO said that unlike socialism, capitalism really works.
