The cross-chain interoperability protocol Owlto Finance attracted more than 1.6 million users in 206 countries and regions within one year of its establishment. Owlto Finance is an intent-centric interoperability protocol with the vision of "connecting the world with AI Agents". Owlto Finance allows users to quickly and securely transfer funds across more than 25 popular L1 and L2 EVM networks, including Ethereum, zk Sync Era, Solana, Linea, Scroll, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Kroma, Mode, Zora, Starknet, Polygon zk EVM, Blast, Taiko, BNB Chain, op BNB, and Bitcoin L2 networks, including Merlin Chain, BSquared, Bevm, and BitLayer.
Advantages of the new points system
The upgraded Owlto points plan fully absorbs user feedback and provides a fair and friendly points mechanism for new and old users. This upgrade not only increases the points base of important network cross-chain, but also strengthens the integration with tasks and activities, and broadens the channels for users to obtain points. New users can use this upgrade to quickly accumulate original points, and old users who continue to be active will also receive generous loyal user rewards based on their past participation.
It is reported that the points system is the main mechanism for the Owlto platform to transfer power to users. As a certificate of contribution value of Owlto users, Owlto will issue airdrop rewards to loyal users according to the points ranking. As a project that has just received a strategic investment of US$8 million, Owlto Finance is expected to take its first snapshot in the third quarter of 2024.
There are currently four ways to earn Owlto Points.
Cross-chain points
Users can complete cross-chain transactions on the main network through Owlto Finance. Regardless of the amount, they can obtain corresponding point rewards according to specific point standards.
Users can earn 300 points by transferring ETH/BTC/USDC/USDT from any network to Ethereum; 150 points by transferring ETH/BTC/USDC/USDT from any network to Scroll, Arbitrum (including Nova), zkSync Era, Base, Linea, Zora, Blast, Mode, Optimism, XLayer, zkLink Nova, Kroma, BOB, Bitlayer, Polygon zkEVM, Manta, BNB Chain, Astar zkEVM, Starknet, Polygon, Metis, Solana, Mantle, Merlin, B², Core, Zeta, ZKFair, MAPO, BEVM Mainnet and BounceBit. Users can earn 100 points by transferring wstETH/BNB/USDV/MNT from any network to other networks.
It should be noted that this basic cross-chain points reward is an important part of the points system upgrade. From December 6, 2023 to May 31, 2024, cross-chain points are not affected by the network and the type of cross-chain tokens, and are all 100 points. The updated points system can help cross-chain users get higher points rewards.
Not only that, the more cross-chain tasks are completed, the higher the points multiplier the user can get. The cross-chain points obtained by each cross-chain user are the product of the basic points and the points multiplier. For example, after completing 10 cross-chain tasks, the user's points reward is 1.2 times the basic points; after completing 100 cross-chain tasks, the points the user can obtain are 1.5 times the basic points.
Activity Points
Owlto encourages users to participate in various activities within the Owlto Finance platform. During the event, users can obtain additional activity points while completing cross-chain tasks to obtain basic points. Activity details can be viewed on the official website https://owlto.finance/.
The activity points are generously rewarded. After completing the activity cross-chain, you can get double points of ordinary cross-chain + activity rewards. For example, if a user crosses the chain from zkSync Era to Ethereum, the activity reward points for this task are 500 points, and the ordinary cross-chain basic points are 300 points. At the same time, if the user has performed more than 100 cross-chains on the Owlto platform, he can get 1.5 times the points product reward. Therefore, Ta can get a total of "300*1.5 + 500 = 950" points reward for this cross-chain.
Recommended Points
After the user connects the wallet on the Owlto Finance platform, a specific referral link will be generated. All new users who enter Owlto Finance through this link will form a binding relationship with the referee after completing the first cross-chain transaction. During the second stage, every time the referee obtains points through cross-chain transactions, the referrer will simultaneously receive a 10% point reward. During the first stage, the referrer received 30% of the point rewards.
For example, when a new user generates 1,000 points through cross-chain transactions on Owlto Finance through the referral link, the referrer will receive 1,000*10% = 100 referral points.
At the same time, through the referral mechanism, the referrer can not only earn Owlto referral points, but also share the actual benefits obtained by the referrer. The rebate ratio of the referral commission ranges from 1-1.5 times, and the specific multiple depends on the number of cross-chain transactions of the referee. Sign-in points
In order to maintain the ecological balance of the Owlto platform, this point system update has adjusted the sign-in points rules. The daily sign-in points reward is adjusted to 2 points. If the user has cross-chain behavior on the same day, he can get 5 times the points, that is, 10 points, after signing in.
