The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has appointed Mo Shaikh, co-founder and CEO of Aptos Labs, to the Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee. This committee, part of the Global Markets Advisory Committee, advises the CFTC on international trade and regulation. Shaikh's participation shows Aptos' growing influence in the market. The subcommittee also includes leaders from BlackRock, Polygon Labs and Uniswap Labs. Previously, Shaikh highlighted L1 and Web3 blockchain projects with Meta Platform. Aptos is known for its efficient transaction processing and has raised $400 million, with a valuation exceeding $4 billion.
