Binance CEO Teng Speaks About Stablecoin Delist Rumors!

Will Binance users in the European Union not be able to access USDT or USDC?

Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, made important statements as of today. Today, Richard Teng spoke specifically about Binance's announcement that it will delist unregulated stablecoins in the European Union.

Discussing the MiCA rules applied in the European Union, successful manager Teng included the following words in his post on his X/Twitter account:

“I wanted to address one of the biggest questions arising about our strategy for the upcoming MiCA stablecoin rules.

Rest assured that Binance will not immediately delist unauthorized stablecoins but will limit their availability to EEA users only on certain products.

Updates on regulated stablecoins will be shared soon. “Continue the improvements.”

In the announcement shared today, Binance included only FDUSD in the unregulated stablecoin list. Many investors are wondering whether USDT or USDC will be affected by these developments.

While new developments on this issue are expected to emerge after a while, it should not be forgotten that these decisions will not affect investors in Turkey.
