EOS Network Foundation Announces Part One of New EOS Token Economics
News from EOS ecological researchers, the EOS Network Foundation (ENF) has announced the first part of the new EOS token economics. This series will cover different aspects of the new economic model, aiming to stabilize and predictably grow the EOS token economy.
The first round of changes includes:
Limit the total number of EOS tokens to 2.1 billion;
Introducing vesting schedules for EOS block producers, Stake Rewards, network custodians such as the EOS Network Foundation (ENF) and EOS Labs;
Funds are allocated for the purchase of 35 million EOS in RAM, and 315 million EOS for RAM market making.
The proposal is about to be passed, and the institute said that the price of RAM memory is conservatively estimated at around 25EOS/KB.
