The first crypto spotlight is on Bitcoin (BTC), the leading cryptocurrency by market capitalization, currently experiencing a potential price decline risk that is causing concern among investors.

This volatility has been significant since last week amid news that the US SEC may approve an Ethereum ETF at the end of the week. The news sparked several rallies, culminating Tuesday with a surge of nearly US$72,000, a level not seen since early April.

However, the excitement began to fade over the next few days, and BTC prices fell to US$66,400 on Thursday, just hours before US regulators approved eight proposed Ethereum Spot ETFs that will trade on US stock exchanges. At this point, the bulls stepped back in, starting another rally that helped Bitcoin recover some ground and approach US$70.000 over the weekend.
