Meme Coin Detail in GCR Hack Case: Price Dropped by 80 Percent!

The remarkable hacking case came to the fore again due to its connection with the owners of the meme coin project.

Blockchain detective ZachXBT shed light on the details of the hacking attack on the social media phenomenon named GCR. Drawing attention to a recent connection with the meme coin project called CAT, named @Sol, ZachXBT stated that there is a chilling connection between the GCR attack and the Sol account.

According to ZachXBT, minutes before the attack, an address affiliated with @Sol opened $2.3 million ORDI and $1 million ETHFI long positions. The positions in question were opened through the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid.

GCR hackers created a sudden increase in the price of up to 30% by sharing especially about Ordi. The @Sol team then used the profits from these positions to CAT:

The @Sol team self-launched to control 63% of the supply, selling over $5 million of CAT before transferring the profits to multiple wallets.

The meme coin CAT, released by the @Sol team, lost 83% of its value and fell to $0.0032 after this hack link emerged.
