Bankrupt crypto exchange MT Gox transferred #activos worth $9.62 billion on #Bitcoin to a new wallet, according to on-chain data from @Arkham Intelligence.
In total 141,686 BTC were moved to a new wallet from other cold wallets associated with MT Gox. These transfers would mean that users who have not been able to access their funds since 2014 would finally be able to do so in the near future.
MT Gox was an Exchange that was compromised many times by #hackers in the past, causing it to finally crash in 2014. This fact affected many users. Following the movements of the MT Gox funds, the price of Bitcoin reacted negatively, falling below $68,000.
