FET, AGIX, OCEAN Are Merging: What You Need to Know About ASI Token and Merger History

How will the merger take place?

As we mentioned before, FET will become the native token of the alliance and will be renamed ASI. 1.48 Billion new tokens will be minted. 867 Million ASI will be given to AGIX holders. 611 Million ASI will be given to OCEAN owners. In this way, the total supply of the token will be 2.63 Billion ASI. In the image below, you can see the calculation made by the Fetch.ai Foundation at the end of March.

What Will the Management Structure Be Like After the Merger?

In the post published on March 27, 2024, questions on this subject were answered as follows:

“A common website for the Alliance will be created in the coming days, but each Foundation (Fetch, Ocean Protocol and SingularityNET) will remain independent legal entities. The existing management structure, teams, communities and token treasuries will also remain unchanged. “Ongoing initiatives and developments in each project will continue as planned and any changes will be announced through official channels.”

In general terms, they aim to help teams get used to working together over time and develop joint projects for a better ASI ecosystem.

The management of the alliance is as follows:

Humayun Sheikh from Fetch.ai will serve as President, Ben Goertzel from SingularityNET will serve as CEO, and Trent McConaghy and Bruce Pon from Ocean Protocol will serve as the board of directors.
