More than 300,000 BTC flowed out from the Mt.Gox address! Bitcoin price plummeted instantly, is the storm coming?
On May 28, a large amount of Bitcoin (BTC) was transferred from the address of the bankrupt exchange Mt.Gox (commonly known as "#门头沟事件 "), triggering a sharp drop in Bitcoin prices!
According to on-chain data, 34,138 BTC (about 2,320,029,136 US dollars) were transferred from Mt.Gox to the address starting with 1JbezD, with a total of 18 transfers. Among them, 15 transfers were 2,000 BTC, 1 was 2,422 BTC, 1 was 1,716 BTC, and 1 was 0.0998 BTC.
Affected by the potential sell-off, the price of Bitcoin plummeted, from a high of $70,580 to a low of $67,500, a drop of more than $3,000, a drop of 4%, helping the shorts to hit the bottom of $60,000 again.
