Ethereum Project That Excites Vitalik Buterin Will Airdrop

The project, which Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin was eagerly awaiting, created its main network.

The rollup protocol called Taiko, which was developed to better scale Ethereum, established its main network after the first block was revealed by Vitalik Buterin.

Vitalik Buterin said, “I am excited to launch Taiko as a based rollup. “L2s having different approaches benefits Ethereum, and I appreciate [Taiko] being one of the first names to go down this path,” he said.

Taiko is expected to issue its own token within a few weeks. 5% of the token, which will have a total supply of 1 billion, will be distributed to the Taiko community via airdrop.

Taiko also plans to establish a DAO later in the year so that the protocol can be governed by the community.
