I have learned several important lessons from my experience in crypto trading:
Sudden Gains: It's possible to earn a significant amount of money very quickly, as I once did. For example, I turned $1,000 into $70,000 on KuCoin by investing in LUNC and using high leverage.
Risk of Losses: However, inexperience and greed can lead to losing those gains just as quickly. I’ve experienced this several times, including when I couldn't hold onto the $70,000 I made.
Bankruptcy: I’ve gone bankrupt multiple times by not using stop-loss options to manage risk.
My learnings:
For crypto or any investment, use Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) when prices are low.
Only leverage an amount that won't significantly harm your portfolio if it hits the stop loss.
Stay well-informed. The market moves quickly based on new information, and being informed can help you grow faster.
