Odaily Planet Daily News: Elon Musk said in an investor speech in May that his AI company xAI will need up to 100,000 dedicated semiconductors to train and run the next version of the conversational artificial intelligence Grok. xAI plans to use these dedicated computing chips to form a huge supercomputer and call it a "gigafactory of compute." Elon Musk said he hopes to put this supercomputer into operation by the fall of 2025 and will personally be responsible for delivering it on time.
