Polygon $MATIC – Layer-2 coin should be held long term
According to assessments, there are currently many Layer-2 solutions launched and competing, so the demand for MATIC is not too high, although it has maintained an overall positive ROI and even increased more than 97,000% to peak on the market. $2.90 at the end of 2021.
But why do I still consider Polygon (MATIC) a coin that cannot be ignored in the list of cryptocurrencies that should be held long-term right now? The reason is because MATIC Copper has not yet exploited half of its potential.
For example, it only works on ETH – although it can be deployed on any other EVM-compatible blockchain.
Second, only a handful of protocols and programs use it to scale their operations despite the plethora of ETH-based projects claiming faster transaction speeds and low gas fees.
That said, if the future holds for increased collaboration between Polygon and on/off-chain brands, this is a testament to its sustainability. On the other hand, the current support of venture investors in MATIC proves that people's trust in Polygon (MATIC) is huge. Many forecasts have suggested that MATIC could reach $40 by 2030.
I predict the market will have a slight correction, of course Matic will also decrease and I expect the price range to be $0.57 to continue to accumulate some goods.
