1️⃣ SEC: On May 23, 2024, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formally greenlit #Ethereum ETFs for spot trading. Issuers, including BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, Bitwise, VanEck, Ark, Invesco Galaxy, and Franklin Templeton, received approval for their 19b-4 filings. 📈

2️⃣ DFINITY: The #DFINITY Foundation has unveiled a new API, enabling the interaction of Internet Computer smart contracts with any Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). While L2 solutions like Optimism, Arbitrum, and Base are already integrated, users have the flexibility to integrate other EVM networks as needed. 🌐

3️⃣ Decrypt: #Grayscale Investments has rolled out two new trusts, offering exposure to Stacks (STX) and Near Protocol (NEAR) assets. 💼

4️⃣ Fantom Foundation: Ahead of the launch of the Sonic blockchain, the #Fantom Foundation, a non-profit entity, will establish Sonic Foundation and Sonic Labs. With a transaction processing capacity of 2000 transactions per second (TPS), Sonic Foundation will oversee governance and treasury, while Sonic Labs will focus on decentralized application development for the ecosystem. 🌀
