Bitcoin Pizza Day ๐
Fourteen years ago today, Lazlo Hanyecz, a programmer from Florida, made history by purchasing two Papa John's pizzas for 10,000 BTC. At that time, 10,000 BTC was worth about $41, and Bitcoin was still largely unknown as a new currency.
This event marked a significant milestone, being the first known purchase using Bitcoin as a means of payment. Today, those 10,000 BTC would be worth $700 million. Incredible!
